Spectra Dual Compact Electric Breast Pump

Not the most discreet of pumps, so I only use at home - but has been amazing at helping to unblock ducts.

My first pump with this I collected 500mls, whereas my output with Elvie Stride 2 is usually around 200-300ml. It’s going to be so helpful in building my freezer stash before I return to work! Being able to adjust left and right pump independently is fantastic.

Simple to put together and sterilise, added bonus that you can pump directly into storage bags (although these are insanely expensive).

I own the Gold Dual, the S2, and the compact. I purchased the compact because it seemed more convenient for travel and portability, Unfortunately, the compact does not have different rhythm cycles like the others, only vacuum levels. It does an extremely long pull that does not mimic natural breastfeeding. I pumped for over 12 minutes and only got 2 ounces total from both breasts. I normally express 6-10 ounces every time I pump regardless of the time of day. I would not recommend.
The S1,S2, and dual are significantly more efficient at expressing milk.

I’ve recently decided to relactate, and this has been the best thing for me and has really helped me get my milk supply back!

Switched to this pump following other recommendations and after previous pump wasn't extracting all my milk and causing damage to my nipples. The Spectra is a lot simpler to use with fewer parts and easier to sterilise and dry within 2-3 hour pumping windows. The battery also lasts a lot longer (24 expression sessions vs. 2 of my previous pump) and in only 2 weeks my milk supply has doubled and there's no damage to my nipples even on higher settings.
