The Spectra S1 hospital grade electric breast pump is simple and easy to use. It is lightweight and extremely quiet, allowing you to pump without disturbing your sleeping baby. The S1 is portable and quickly rechargeable, making pumping easy wherever you are. It has a built-in rechargeable battery (approx. 3 hours when on full charge), and is also quiet and discreet for soothing pumping. The S1 includes the feature of adjustable suction levels, providing a more natural flow of milk, which when in "massage mode" simulates the natural suckling of baby.  The S1 has a closed system to prevent milk backflow, making it safe and hygienic for you and your baby. The unit has a built in gentle nightlight and timer, along with 2 breast shield sets to allow for double pumping.

Spectra S1 Set-Up Guide

  • When single pumping, do not remove the air cap from the second nozzle.
  • The pump will auto power off after 30 mins as a safety feature.
  • The cycle is speed control - which is how many times the pump 'sucks' and realises per minute.
  • The vacuum is suction power control - and we suggest to start off with the vacuum level on low, and then gradually increase it to a comfortable level.

  • 1 x UK charger
  • 2 x 28mm breast shields
  • 2 x Spectra storage bottles

Wrong default flange

The default flange comes with it is too big. The replacement is quite expensive and time taking.

One of the best pumps I’ve tried. Love the night light too, it’s so convenient at night time when feeding baby and then pumping. Well worth the money!

Good pump but flange too big

Pump is great but unfortunately it came with 28mm flanges which was way too big and painful so had to spend nearly £35 on smaller flanges which unfortunately are still too big. Like buying a bra if can be expensive to find the perfect fit but overall the pump is good. So quiet too!

Love this

Love this but I do wish it was silicone I feel like would not drip at the bottom as much but apart from that it’s amazing so I still give it a 5

The only pump I've ever used and it is brilliant.

I was expecting my son March 2022, knew I wanted to breastfeed and pump at the same time so that my husband could feed him too. After MUCH research I chose the Spectra S1. It's a good thing I was well prepared before he was born because he didn't latch straigh away when he was born (took a month for that) but after 2 days of hand expression I took out my pump and got to work. Incredibly easy to use, and easy to clean. My son was well fed via expressed breastmilk through a bottle and his dad got to bond with him through that aswell. My milk supply was flowing like a river and I had so much storage bags of breastmilk we had to invest in a separate chest freezer to hold them all. My son was drinking about 3-4 full bags a day and I was pumping 6! Stopped pumping around the 9month mark. Weaned him from breastfeeding at 17months.
I'm expecting no2 next April and I intend to do the same even if baby latches so have come back to buy new parts for my trusty spectra S1
